Orchid of the Month: Sophronitis coccinea 4N IN BUD! These are spectacular. The bright red flowers more than double in size after opening and last up to two months. These strong plants did not even blink in the heat of this past summer. Mature. Intermediate to Cool - Potted - $125 ea.

We have added a new page called ELITE OFFERINGS to our website where we are listing very limited and special plants, which in the past were only available by special request or if you visited us here at the greenhouse. All three of us love to give talks to orchid societies and welcome inquiries. Here are some of our topics. MINIATURE ORCHIDS is constantly changing to include a wide range of genera and is our most popular talk. WARM GROWING PLEUROTHALLIDS gives a lot of cultural information about the warmer members of this fascinating group. THE CULTURE OF MASDEVALLIAS will demystify growing this fabulous genus. THE STRANGE AND WONDERFUL WORLD OF DRACULAS illustrates some of the most bizzare and creature-like members of the orchid family and tells how to grow them.
